Well here’s the aerial view of the Quinsam Hatchery at Campbell River, British Columbia. It is really a pretty large hatchery with a fairly nice Hatchery Building built during the 70’s I believe. It’s just a wee bit out of town, but not very far. Took about ten minutes from the motel I stayed in (Best Western, Austrian Chalet). I had a pleasant visit even though there was lots of snow on the ground and fairly cold (-2 to +4 C).

I have caught some big ones, but none that big. We have some big ones still left here on the Kitsap Peninsula up on the Hoh River though. Maybe one day…
